What is the aim or goal of your writing: The 80-acre wilderness surrounding her home is her laboratory. Her work is a lovely combination of art and writing. As she says, "This is not the story of Michigan that you would find in the history books...not the facts and figures of industry or business...not as a tourist would record the beauty of its lakes and hills...but simply a series of thoughts that may make you feel Michigan in your heart..."
