What is the aim or goal of your writing: I am a portrait photographer who believes in capturing the essence of a person. My books have captured the success and the ability for survivors of the holocaust to build lives after their horrendous experiences. It is a tribute to the strength of the human spirit. It's an inspirational series of books. They have also have acted as a "connector" for survivors that lost touch during the war with people who were childhood friends, family members, etc.... because each person has their maiden name, given name, city they were born, and in cases that it's applicable, the tattoo number. People going through the books have discovered people from their hometowns or family members who they didn't know survived! I consider myself a mom who knows how to take portraits.
