What is the aim or goal of your writing: I write to share my hiking adventures and to bring a deeper understanding of the region to others. My books explore the history and geology of the Great Lakes region along with the natural history of how the lakes were formed and how they continue to change and the ecosystems challenged. Many people have connected with my books because many people care about the Great Lakes.
