What is the aim or goal of your writing: "To help young people understand the nature of ethnicity, the American Indian, the urban world and the significance of historical geography." 2nd ed. says, "I have been engaged in American Indian studies for over 25 years. It has been my intention to take the very best in theory, knowledge and research in the social science disciplines-particularily to geography and anthropology-and to relate them to the writing of works for juveniles. I can say with relish that it has been a labor of love."
