What is the aim or goal of your writing: In preparing journal articles and books, research is required. But the greatest contribution to my publications is made by my students--who are so creative. They take a suggested idea and move far beyond it, thereby suggesting new possibilities and insights into the use of familiar art techniques and media. The teacher teaches his students and vice versa. This intimate interaction is reflected in all of my publications. I continue to photograph student art work and my own art creations. My photographs, in black and white, and in color, now run into the thousands. One single lens reflex camera is always loaded with black and white film, and a second camera is reserved for color film--always in preparation for another journal article--another book.
