What is the aim or goal of your writing: Clara was from Indiana but a visit to the "Soo" with her parents in the mid-80's turned her thoughts to Michigan. Staying on their boat from Detroit, "tied up somewhere on the St. Mary's River for the night; Indians coming aboard and dancing; the purchase of a tiny canoe, made "the Soo...a place to dream of ever since."
