What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, "'Memories of Mackinaw' was my first endeavor in the field of writing. My chief interest is historic preservation and beautification projects of which I am involved in several both locally and nationallly. My hobbies are reading, painting and piano. Although born in Charlevoix, I have spent my entire life in Mackinaw City, with the exception of two years in Farmington and time spent traveling here and abroad."
