What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, " I've never wanted to be anything but a writer nor have I ever even thought of another career as predominant even though I'm a stockbroker and day-trade in the market (for kicks--that giant roulette wheel in the sky). My philosophy is that for the first half of your life you put things in and for the second half you put things out. My four ambitions were/are to: Read the dictionary through; read all of Shakespeare; read the Bible through; and write a good novel. With the first three almost completed I've now turned my entire attention to the fourth. It's time to stop putting in and to leave something to the coming generations. I very much enjoy speaking engagements and do a minimum of two a week."
