What is the aim or goal of your writing:
I have wanted to be an author and an illustrator since first grade. We had a "young author's week" at my school, and at that time "published" my first book in our media center's bindery area. Ever since then, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I attribute my successes to the wonderful people I have met through networking and the help of my extended family of Michigan authors and illustrators that have given me support and advice.
My mission is to motivate and inspire kids to follow their passions and become the best people they can be. My presentations focus on inspiring literacy and creates sparks.
May inquiries be sent to you about doing workshops, readings: Yes
Most definitely. When it comes to inspiring and motivating children, I was awarded the Gwen Frostic Award. My presentations are what I am most known for, and connecting with kids is my biggest strength. My presentations are dynamic, energetic, and relevant to your school's goals. I have experience and have developed many different programs for adults and children. I am available for conferences, events, school & library visits, etc...I can do workshops, public speaking, or entertainment. I am very flexible, and very affordable. My presentation descriptions and contact information details may be found at my website.
