What is the aim or goal of your writing:
From the 2nd. edition, " The light verse quatrain is more difficult to write than most people realize because so much has to be said in so little space and because the rules for rhyme and meter are so precise. The lastline is the most important, either because it has a twist or because the idea is buttoned up in some manner." "I believe humor can help us all live with frustration more comfortabley-and letters from readers agree. Also a sturdy belief in religion (I am Methodist), my country, and people contribute to a blithe outlook on life." "Whle my family has been the central point, I've throughly enjoyed professional contacts with other writers and find it exhilarating to do humor programs for audiences."
She told CA that she is a "people watcher." She finds subjects for her verse listening to all kinds of people. I spend 40 hours a week writing, revising. The wastebasket by my desk is, alas, always crammed."
