What is the aim or goal of your writing: "I am presently retired and living in Munising in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. As long as I live within the small retirement benefits sent monthly from Lansing, Michigan, I am basically a free man. I hope to use this small stipend and days of my solitude to press the boundaries of literary art as far as I can in the time I have remaining. As I grow in my writing I succeed in learning more about myself and societal surroundings. Also, I hope as a frustrated teacher, of a sorts, to be able to leave something behind after I am gone that others will find beneficial. In short, I want to leave a small literary legacy that will say later, 'I was here!'"
