What is the aim or goal of your writing: "During my working years my aim in writing was primarily to earn a living, which I did successfully for more than 40 years. My occasional magazine writing in retirement is done to supplement income and also serves to provide a sense of pride in my ability to write up to current commercial standards. Writing is no longer an important part of my life. Frankly, after having written almost constantly during my working years I am tired of doing it as a steady occupation and write only in response to some occasional urge or whim."
