What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"The object of my writing is to get children enthusiastic about history through the vehicle of children's literature. As a librarian, I have an avid interest in books and the aim of my writing is to expose children to the many wonderful books available to them. Having an advanced degree in American history, I have chosen to write in this area. With the numerous well-written and well-researched fiction and non-fiction historical books currently available, children can learn more about their nation's history using materials outside of the basal textbooks used in the classroom. Both of my books contain learning activities that develop basic concepts and coordinate the children's books with American history."
