What is the aim or goal of your writing: A Catholic school education including an all-girl high school experience which taught me that women could and should be in leadership positions; strong family support, mentors like Neal Shine (formerly of the Detroit Free Press) and Julie Greenwalt (formerly of People magazine). When given a deadline I meet it. When one is not given, I supply it myself.

I do a workshop for elementary schools and libraries called "The Write Stuff", readings to school children and speeches to adult community group, teachers, PTOs, etc. I prefer to respond to letters via e-mail.
