What is the aim or goal of your writing: Miss Johnson never married, but lived all her life in Hastings, where she was active in the affairs of the Methodist Church. Many of her works were sold to church publications. Her stories have been compared to the Elsie Dinsmore series. She taught school until her book royalties provided an adequate income.
