What is the aim or goal of your writing:
I write because I am in a unique position of both working in gospel music as a radio host/producer and working as a trained researcher. I am able to see first hand the changes taking place in gospel music. I then write about these transformations in a way I hope will help future generations understand what gospel music at this juncture encompassed while helping those who are witnessing the changes to appreciate how the new forms build upon the traditions even as they step away from it in some aspects.
I attribute my success to hard work, focusing on an interesting topic, and God’s grace.
