What is the aim or goal of your writing: "He believed, 'When men come really to understand one another-if that time ever comes-war will end, poverty will end, tyranny will end, and this under almost any sort of government, almost any economic system.' The Detroit News, December 22, 1941." Baker became acquainted with Woodrow Wilson while editor and part owner of American Magazine. This friendship resulted in his being designated to edit the President's papers. Wilson said, "I would rather have your interpretation than that of anyone else I know."
