What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"I love children and animals and want children to love and care for them, too. I have also traveled overseas many, many times and would like to use my memories and photos in future stories."
2nd ed. says, "In addition to my writing, I am an avid photographer. I became interested in writing when I saw a photo-illustrated book for children at the library. My children were young and I went to the downtown library and brought armloads of books home to read to them. A photo-illustrated book about a cat inspired me and 'Once There was a Kitten' was born. I had the cat and kittens, the children, and the camera know-how so I tried writing and my first attempt was accepted for publication. If it hadn't been accepted, I probably would have 'given up' and not attempted writing again. 'The Sea Cart' resulted from a trip to the Gaspe, Canada. The dog carts, children sailing boats, men cleaning fish on the beaches inspired me. At the present time I travel every summer and sometime during the spring vacations. I have visited Spain, Morocco, England, France, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Scotland, Mexico, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. I have taken many slides of these visits. I hope to continue my travels and my writing."
