What is the aim or goal of your writing: Primarily, I am interested in Michigan and ethnic history, especially local history. After the publication of the Michigan Pioneer and Historical Collections, it appears that Michigan lost its zest for history and particularly local history. Tragically, most of our large, rich ethnic contributions have never been recorded.
