What is the aim or goal of your writing:
To present an appreciation of the out of doors, in the world around us.
2nd ed. says, "I never get lonesome, I have a vast amount of memories and they crowd in around me. You can't help looking back. I've learned that material things are not important, but my friends and faith are. I'd rather be out with the rabbits and 'possums'. My philosophy of nature inclues everything with humanity. That is why all my hobbies fit into one another. Many poets feel the more obscure the better, but I see no point in writing if the reader does not know about what you are writing."
Margaret Elliott has also taught classes and conducted workshops in herbs, their culture and uses; reading for fun; creative writing; and the world of Haiku. She was a student and champion of American Indians long before their plight aroused widespread interest. In honor of her interest she was adopted as a member of the Ottawa Indian Tribe, and given the name "Ag-Kaa-Noo-Ma-Gaa-Qua," which means 'Friendly Teaching Lady'.
